Megan Anna Rapinoe born 5th July 1985, Redding California. She first began playing soccer as just a small child and her skills increased in her teenage years. Rachael and Megan Rapinoe both attended an institution called the University of Portland, Oregon. Megan Rapinoe played for her University's women's soccer team, and was one of the best scoring soccer players from the United States. Her first FIFA Women's World Cup was back in 2011. Her contributions helped the U.S. Women's World Cup to claim two consecutive championships in 2019 and 2015. In 2018 she was able to assume the position of cocaptain to the team. Rapinoe was the one who had two points for the United States in the 4-3 victory over Australia during the bronze Olympic medal match at Tokyo in 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus that Japan had to delay until 2021 because of the pandemic was awarded the gold medal at Tokyo in 2016.
